“The Run In” continues with a full programme of midweek Premier League fixtures and TNT Sports is bringing fans in the UK eight midweek matches exclusively live, including West Ham United v Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night, Arsenal v Luton Town on Wednesday night, and Chelsea v Manchester United on Thursday evening.

The London derby between West Ham and Spurs has delivered drama on many occasions in the Premier League.

Ahead of the match at the London Stadium, former Spurs midfielder Jermaine Jenas and ex-West Ham captain Mark Noble took a trip down memory lane.

Click on the video below to see the former midfield rivals reflect on past meetings between the two teams, including the food-poisoning controversy that infamously cost Spurs a place in the UEFA Champions League to the benefit of Arsenal on the final day of the 2005/06 season.

“Last game of the season, we’ve got Arsenal on the ropes," says Jenas, who played for Spurs in the match, to Noble. "We’ve just got to beat yourselves [West Ham] and we’re in the Champions League for the first time."

But Spurs went on to lose 2-1 at the Boleyn Ground to the pleasure of fans in east London and those of an Arsenal persuasion.

“There was this moment where we were sat in the dressing-room and there were eight, nine, 10 people being sick everywhere," Jenas recalls.

“One is in the toilet, one’s in the sink, one’s in a bucket, everyone’s just being sick everywhere. And then all you could hear was the biggest party ever going on in the dressing-room opposite.”
