The Scout is tipping five players for big success in Blank Gameweek 29 (BGW29) of Fantasy Premier League ahead of Saturday's 13:30 GMT deadline.

Chris Wood (Nott’m Forest) £4.8m

The Nottingham Forest forward could prove a handy budget option after returning to action last weekend.

Wood made an immediate impact under head coach Nuno Espirito Santo, producing five goals, an assist and 38 points in four matches before sustaining an injury in Gameweek 22.

He was a big success in his previous meeting with his weekend hosts Luton Town, scoring twice to collect 13 points in Gameweek 9.

At a cost of only £4.8m, Wood has the upcoming schedule to continue offering value for a number of Gameweeks to come.

According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), five of Nott’m Forest’s next six matches score only two, including their encounter with Luton this Saturday.

Carlton Morris (Luton) £5.2m

The Luton forward has been a huge influence in recent home matches ahead of his meeting with Nott’m Forest.

Morris scored against Sheffield United, Manchester United and Aston Villa and earned an assist against Brighton & Hove Albion in his last four encounters at Kenilworth Road.

Nott’m Forest’s defensive record suggests the Hatters striker is set to earn more attacking returns.

They have conceded at least three goals in six of their 14 away matches and are without a clean sheet in their last nine on the road.

Mohammed Kudus (West Ham) £6.8m

A visit from Villa can allow the West Ham United star the opportunity to extend his reliable home record.

Kudus has blanked only twice in his last seven home matches, earning 47 points thanks to four goals, two assists and seven bonus points.

Indeed, the Ghanaian has scored or assisted 43 per cent of the Hammers’ goals across 2023/24, placing him top among their regular starters ahead of the 40 per cent of Jarrod Bowen (£7.9m).

That highlights Kudus' huge influence on the West Ham attack as they face a Villa side who have conceded eight goals across their last three league matches.

Leon Bailey (Aston Villa) £5.7m

West Ham’s defensive woes indicate a clean sheet from either side looks unlikely in Sunday’s match. The Hammers are without a shutout in their previous eight encounters and have conceded 10 goals in their last three at home.

Bailey’s eight goals and nine assists this season mark him out as a strong double-up option along with Ollie Watkins (£9.0m) for managers investing in Villa's attack.

The winger has been involved in 46 per cent of Villa’s goals when selected in 2023/24, placing only behind the 54 per cent of Watkins among their regulars.

Pedro Porro (Spurs) £5.7m

The Tottenham Hotspur full-back is the most-bought defender in the Gameweek after returning from injury last weekend.

Porro’s potential for returns at both ends of the pitch can quickly reward his 107,000+ new owners when he faces Fulham this Saturday.

He has produced attacking or defensive returns in 14 matches this season, more than any other player in his position in Fantasy.

Porro’s totals of 37 shots and 41 key passes place first and fourth respectively among defenders in 2023/24 Fantasy, showing his significant potential for goals and assists.
