With the next set of international fixtures less than a month away, Jarrod Bowen sent a timely reminder to England manager Gareth Southgate of his ability by scoring his first Premier League hat-trick.

The West Ham United star fired his side to a 4-2 victory over Brentford on Monday as the Hammers ended their six-match winless run in the league.

Bowen has been rewarded with a place in the Team of the Week selected by Alan Shearer, who himself netted 11 hat-tricks in the competition, and is the Premier League's all-time top scorer.

Alphonse Areola (West Ham)
“Despite conceding two goals, he made several really good saves.”

John Stones (Man City)
“He was absolutely everywhere. A typically assured display.”

Jarrad Branthwaite (Everton)
“Scored a great goal and defended really well, with Everton only conceding at the death. With performances like this, an England call-up can’t be too far away.”

Calvin Bassey (Fulham)
“Scored his first Premier League goal and didn’t give Marcus Rashford a kick.”

Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)
"A fantastic goal and another top performance. Class.”

Douglas Luiz (Aston Villa)
“Two well-taken goals took his tally to nine in a brilliant season.”

Jorginho (Arsenal)
"Used his experience to great effect and ran the midfield.”

Phil Foden (Man City)
"Best player on the pitch. He seems to enjoy the bigger responsibility he’s given when Kevin De Bruyne isn’t playing.”

Leon Bailey (Aston Villa)
“Forest simply couldn’t handle him. Created the opener and scored the final goal.”

Kai Havertz (Arsenal)
"With a goal and an assist, he’s become a key part of what is currently the best attack in the Premier League.”

Jarrod Bowen (West Ham)
“A clinical display as he scored his first Premier League hat-trick. Are you watching Gareth Southgate?”

Manager: Marco Silva (Fulham)
"His game plan worked to perfection. Fulham fans will remember this win for years to come.”
