The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts give their thoughts on who to captain in Gameweek 24 ahead of the deadline at 11:00 GMT on Saturday 10 February.

There is no doubt Liverpool have the standout fixture at home to Burnley, so Diogo Jota (£8.1m) and Darwin Nunez (£7.4m) will tempt me as Klopp's men look to bounce back from their defeat at Arsenal. Erling Haaland (£14.2m), however, will be hard to resist now he's got minutes under his belt and with his starting spot looking pretty secure.

I'll likely go Haaland, but Richarlison (£7.2m) has really caught the eye recently. The haul against Everton means that he is now captain material, particularly with key creative players like James Maddison (£7.9m) back in the starting XI.
Pranil Sheth (@Lateriser12)
Haaland is the obvious captain, having played 86 minutes versus Brentford. It would be either him or a roll of the dice on the underlying data king Nunez, who faces a very open Burnley side.

Manchester City are firing on all cylinders and now that Haaland has started a match following his return from injury, he is my top captain pick at home to Everton.

There are a couple of captaincy shouts in Gameweek 24, but Haaland at home to Everton is where I will be going. You could also captain Phil Foden (£8.0m), who is coming off his second hat-trick in his Man City career. I also fancy a Liverpool player against Burnley, as a Nunez or Jota haul might be coming soon.

There are a lot of good picks with favourable fixtures again. Haaland is the clear No 1, but Nunez or Jota are also good shouts with high points ceilings.
Harry Daniels (@FPL_Harry)
Haaland is likely to take it, although I do fancy Liverpool to actually score more goals than Man City. Nunez or Jota are likely to be my transfer in, so they could be good differential shouts, or Trent Alexander-Arnold (£8.5m), who may end up playing in midfield.
Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
I hate captaining a player in the first match of the Gameweek, but it is very hard to look anywhere other than Haaland. I am going to invest in either Nunez or Jota, so they both are good options too, and I am also keen on leaving the armband with Kevin De Bruyne (£10.8m) for the third Gameweek in a row.
