Arsene Wenger has praised the all-round form of Alexis Sanchez, who is the first player to reach double figures for both goals and assists in this season's Premier League.
“At the start, he was a player mainly focused on scoring goals,” says Wenger ahead of Tuesday night's meeting with Sunderland, a match for which Sanchez will be assessed due to a thigh injury.
“He developed his assist potential with us very well. He’s become a complete player. It’s an exceptional achievement and I would like to say that, to score and provide in double figures, you need to be a special player."
