I held Haaland last weekend on the basis that if he was fit, I would want him for Gameweeks 19 and 20 against Everton and Sheffield United.
If Pep Guardiola suggests that Haaland is fit to face the Toffees, I would recommend trying to get the Norwegian back in straight away.

As things stand, Haaland has been ruled out of the FIFA Club World Cup, which tells me that he's injured until he's fit, and when he does get fit, we have Son Heung-min (£9.8m) and Mohamed Salah (£13.2m) as cash cows to enable him back in.

Haaland appears unlikely to start against Everton and Sheff Utd. I will be buying him back only in Gameweek 21, with spreading the funds an option, using Salah as the cash cow to get him back.

I plan to get Haaland in Gameweek 20, so will try and save two free transfers for then.

I sold Haaland knowing I would likely have to go without him for Gameweek 19, which isn't ideal, but a risk I was willing to take. Sheff Utd at home, however, feels too good a week not to own him, so I plan to sell Salah and use the funds to upgrade one of my three mid-priced forwards to Haaland. If fit, he will be the obvious captain.

I plan on waiting until at least Gameweek 20 to buy Haaland back. A recurring foot injury, with fixtures coming so fast over Christmas, is not something I will rush to have in my FPL team, even if it is Haaland.

With my first Wildcard still available, it's easier to get Haaland back in. My plan is to activate it for Gameweek 20, losing Salah to free up the cash for Haaland, providing he's fit by then.

I sold Haaland for Dominic Solanke (£6.8m) ahead of Gameweek 17. My intention was to swap them back ahead of Gameweek 20. However, with Solanke now having a Double Gameweek at some stage, I am likely to hold him and look to upgrade Cameron Archer (£4.6m).
Doing this will mean rolling a transfer in Gameweek 19 and then selling either Son or Salah to buy the Manchester City forward back - injury permitting, of course.
