The Scout is tipping four low-owned players for a breakthrough Gameweek in 2023/24 Fantasy Premier League, ahead of Saturday’s 13:30 GMT deadline.

Gabriel Jesus (Arsenal) £7.8m

Arsenal’s Brazilian has the schedule to shake up managers’ forward lines after returning from injury last weekend.

Gabriel Jesus has been restricted to only five league starts this season, managing just one goal and an assist.

However, his displays in the UEFA Champions League group stage are more indicative of his importance to the Gunners. Ahead of their home encounter with Lens on Wednesday evening, the striker has three goals and an assist in three appearances.

Mikel Arteta’s side are set to embark on a kind long-term run of opponents that gives Jesus the opportunity to get back to his best domestically.

According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), six of their next nine matches – including their home meeting with Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend – score just two.

Ben Mee (Brentford) £4.8m

Brentford’s centre-back is also just back from injury ahead of a favourable upcoming schedule.

Five of the Bees’ next seven matches score just two in the FDR, including their home match against Luton Town this weekend. They do, however, have a Blank Gameweek 18, along with Manchester City.

Mee’s huge threat from set-pieces, combined with his potential for defensive returns, can help him make a big impact at both ends of the pitch across that period.

He produced three goals and two assists, as well as 12 clean sheets, in his first season for Thomas Frank’s side in 2022/23 Fantasy.

Michael Olise (Crystal Palace) £5.8m

The Crystal Palace star wasted no time in reminding Fantasy managers of his potential in his first start of 2023/24 last weekend.

Olise scored in the Eagles’ 2-1 defeat at Luton to collect a 10-point haul in FPL.

His five shots and four shots in the box were both at least double that of any other Palace player, while his three chances created was also a team-leading total.

Back-to-back encounters with West Ham United and AFC Bournemouth should give Olise more opportunities to thrive as a budget midfield pick.

Tomas Soucek (West Ham) £4.9m

The West Ham star has proven a match for his fellow midfielder Jarrod Bowen (£7.6m) in recent matches.

Soucek has mirrored Bowen’s four goals and 17 shots in the last seven Gameweeks. Furthermore, he betters him by 16 shots in the box to 15, and by seven big chances to five.

Having scored in back-to-back matches against Nottingham Forest and Burnley, the Czech has the schedule to keep providing big value in Fantasy.

Soucek's GW13 goal v Burnley

Three of the Hammers’ next four matches score just two in the FDR, including their home meeting with Palace this weekend.
