Norwich City finished bottom of the Division 2 table, a season after being relegated from Division 1, having ended their campaign with a goalless draw against Brighton and Hove Albion at Carrow Road.

Both sides had chances to open the scoring in the first half, but the closest either came to finding the net was in second-half stoppage time when Seagulls substitute Max Sanders hit the post.

The Canaries finished three points behind Stoke City, while Brighton were 11 points better off in eighth.

Norwich's season is not quite over, however, as they take on Reading in the Premier League Cup semi-final at the Madejski Stadium on Sunday.
