The Scout is tipping four low-owned players for a breakthrough Gameweek in 2023/24 Fantasy Premier League.

Each player is selected by no more than nine per cent of managers ahead of Saturday’s 11:00 GMT deadline.

Abdoulaye Doucoure (Everton) £5.5m

The midfielder has been Everton’s top performer in the opening 10 Gameweeks of 2023/24.

Doucoure has scored three goals and supplied an assist to collect 40 points.

The underlying statistics show his major influence on the Toffees’ attack ahead of their home meeting with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Indeed, his 18 shots, 14 shots in the box, eight big chances and 11 shots on target are all team-leading totals.

Brighton, meanwhile, have yet to keep a clean sheep this season, conceding 10 goals in their four away matches.

Pascal Gross (Brighton) £6.3m

Brighton are set to embark on a very favourable short-term schedule that can lift the German’s attacking output.

According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), each of their next three matches, against Everton, Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest, score only two.

Although Gross has managed only two goals and an assist, the underlying numbers show how crucial he is to the Seagulls’ attack.

His 18 chances created is a team-leading total, while his seven shots on target rank joint-second along with Kaoru Mitoma (£6.5m).

Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool) £6.1m

Liverpool’s Dutchman has stepped up his output at both ends of the pitch ahead of his trip to Luton Town.

Van Dijk has produced two assists, two clean sheets and 26 points in his previous five appearances, blanking only once.

His aerial threat at free-kicks and corners could prove decisive for Jurgen Klopp’s side at Kenilworth Road.

Luton have allowed 31 headed attempts and 48 shots at set-pieces, placing among the bottom four teams for both statistics.

Callum Wilson (Newcastle) £7.8m

An injury to his strike rival Alexander Isak (£7.4m) has lifted the output of the Newcastle United forward.

Wilson has started each of the last two matches in the Swede’s absence, scoring three goals over those encounters with Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers to earn 19 points.

The statistics suggest Wilson could be vital for the Magpies in their run of home matches against Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in the next four Gameweeks.

His average of 64.7 minutes per goal is quicker than any other forward with more than two goals this season, knocking even Erling Haaland (£14.0m) into second place on 80.6 minutes.
