Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 Watford

Tottenham Hotspur kept the pressure on Premier League leaders Chelsea with a rousing home win over Watford.

Goals by Dele Alli, Eric Dier and a Son Heung-min double earned Mauricio Pochettino’s side their 11th successive home victory.

Spurs had already struck the bar, through Vincent Janssen, when Alli curled in from range on 33 minutes.

Dier doubled the lead from the area’s edge, and Son become the first South Korean to register 10 goals in a PL season when he beat Heurelho Gomes on 44 minutes.

Son converted Kieran Trippier’s cross 10 minutes later and hit the bar late on as Spurs moved to within four points of Chelsea, who play later. Watford are 10th.
