Kenji Gorre’s second-half strike against Brighton & Hove Albion took Swansea City into the last four as they aim for their second trophy of the season.

Already crowned the Premier League 2 Division 2 champions, Swansea claimed a 1-0 win at Landore Training Ground when Dutch winger Gorre surged into the box from the left flank before finding the far corner of the net with a low strike.

Swansea joined Reading, Portsmouth and Norwich City in the PL Cup semi-finals after Monday's matches, with the draw taking place on at 2pm BST on Tuesday.

The Swans host Aston Villa in their next PL2 match on Monday 10 April, while Brighton next face Stoke City on the same day.
