Manchester City made Premier League 2 history with their Division 1 victory over Blackburn Rovers on Sunday, claiming a hat-trick of PL2 titles on a triumphant weekend for their Academy sides.
A second-half brace from PL2's leading scorer Carlos Borges, pictured above, helped Man City to a 3-0 win that took them to an unassailable 53 points, 10 clear of Chelsea in second.

City also won the Under-18 Premier League North division on Saturday for a fourth successive season by beating Sunderland 4-2 at City Football Academy.
Victory means Man City have set up a one-off final with South division winners West Ham United with the winner crowned the overall champions.
