Hull City have completed the loan signing of defender Andrea Ranocchia from Inter Milan.
The 28-year-old centre-back has signed on loan until the end of the season and becomes Hull’s sixth signing of the January transfer window after Markus Henriksen, Oumar Niasse, Evandro, Omar Elabdellaoui and Lazar Markovic.
Ranocchia started his career at Arezzo and had loan spells at Bari and Genoa before becoming a regular at Inter Milan, for whom he made 134 Serie A appearances.

The Italy international, who has been capped 21 times, was loaned to Sampdoria last season and has since struggled to win a regular place in the Inter line-up.
He is hoping to help Hull, who lie 19th in the Premier League and two points from safety, secure their top-flight status this season.
Ranocchia is eligible to face Manchester United on Wednesday evening and will wear the No 13 shirt.
