De Bruyne has produced attacking returns in back-to-back matches for the first time since Gameweek 15.

He delivered a goal, an assist and 13 points in Manchester City’s last home contest, a 4-1 win over Liverpool in Gameweek 29.

De Bruyne followed that up with a pair of assists and nine points as Pep Guardiola’s side recorded another 4-1 success, this time at Southampton, last weekend.

The underlying numbers over those matches indicate the Man City playmaker is back to his best.

De Bruyne’s total of 10 chances created in the last two Gameweeks are more than three times the total of any team-mate, aside from the seven of Riyad Mahrez (£7.3m).

Those numbers also fare well when assessed against other players in Fantasy.

Indeed, De Bruyne’s 10 key passes and three big chances created both place second overall in his last two matches.

Leicester’s away record, meanwhile, indicates Guardiola’s attackers can bring in more big returns this weekend.

The Foxes have visited five of the current top seven sides this season and have conceded an average of four goals per match in those encounters.

Leicester’s away form versus top seven
Opp. Goals conceded
Arsenal 4
Man Utd 3
Spurs 6
Aston Villa 2
Brighton 5

Having been replaced midway through the second half of Man City’s UEFA Champions League tie against Bayern Munich on Tuesday, De Bruyne will be fully refreshed to face the Foxes.

He has the form to exploit his visitors’ frailties and continue his improved output in Fantasy.
