The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League give their thoughts on which player to captain in Gameweek 21 ahead of Saturday's 11:00 GMT deadline.

What the experts say
Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

Kieran Trippier (£6.0m) has been in excellent form keeping five clean sheets in as many matches, and is also an attacking threat. He could be a great captain pick this weekend especially for managers who want to go against the Erling Haaland (£12.2m) captaincy train.

Kevin De Bruyne (£12.5m) was fully rested against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday evening. He also scored 24 points in his last match against Wolverhampton Wanderers. They could both outscore Haaland this weekend.

I am still looking at Haaland against Wolves in Gameweek 21 as the best captaincy option. If managers want to go against Haaland, Harry Kane (£11.7m) can do well against Fulham. I expect him to be amongst the goals against a team that doesn't sit back.

Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

Having been rested against Spurs, I'd expect De Bruyne to come back in for the Wolves encounter. His 24-pointer in this fixture from was a real FPL highlight from last season, so I'll likely go with him or Haaland for captaincy.

Utkarsh Dalmia (@Zophar666)

Manchester City have scored more goals in home matches than any other side and so Haaland remains the standout captain pick. Alternatively, Kane away to Fulham is a great shout.

Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)

if we're looking away from Haaland, which managers should consider, I like Kane for the armband this week. Whilst Fulham are playing well at the moment, they will concede chances.

Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)

I'm torn between Haaland and De Bruyne for the captaincy this week. I would like to go De Bruyne because he is likely to produce a large return imminently.

Nick Harris (@WGTA_Nick)

Kane could be an excellent alternative captaincy to Haaland this weekend. He has 15 goals to his name this season and needs just two to get to 200 goals in the Premier League and break Jimmy Greaves' all time Spurs record.
