As we enter the period of the season with Blank and Double Gameweeks, Fantasy Premier League managers must take into account not only rotation but the absence of players in their squads through suspension.

Any player earning 10 bookings from his side's first 32 Premier League matches will serve a two-match ban in the same competition. Yellow cards are not carried over to the EFL Cup or FA Cup.

Players suspended for Gameweek 27

Four players are currently suspended for Gameweek 27.

Billy Gilmour (£4.9m) starts a three-game suspension after he was shown a straight red card in Brighton & Hove Albion's 1-1 draw with Everton.

He will sit out the fifth-round FA Cup tie with Wolverhampton Wanderers in midweek as well as the Premier League encounters with Fulham and Nottingham Forest.

Unlike yellow cards, red cards are carried over to the domestic cup competitions.

Josh Brownhill (£4.7m) is banned for the visit of AFC Bournemouth. The Burnley midfielder was dismissed for denying Jefferson Lerma (£4.7m) an obvious goalscoring opportunity in the 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace.

Mason Holgate (£4.0m) serves the second of his three-match ban following his red card in Sheffield United's 5-0 loss to Brighton in Gameweek 25.

Joao Palhinha (£5.0m) will miss Fulham's encounter with Brighton as he completes his two-match suspension for picking up 10 yellow cards.

Meanwhile, Philip Billing (£5.1m) and Kalvin Phillips (£4.7m) are both free to return after completing their respective suspensions.
