If Liverpool win or draw they will go above Manchester City ahead of the leaders' trip to Burnley later in the day.

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has been directly involved in 11 goals in just seven Premier League matches against Watford, scoring nine and assisting two. The Egyptian averages a goal or assist every 57 minutes versus the Hornets, the fourth-best ratio one player has against a club in the competition's history (minimum 600 minutes against that opponent).

Watford have won eight points from their six Premier League away contests under Roy Hodgson (W2 D2 L2), as many as they had from their previous 17 on the road in the competition (W2 D2 L13). The Hornets won 2-1 at Southampton last time out, but haven’t won consecutive away top-flight matches since a run of three in September 2017.

Watford’s Cucho Hernandez has been directly involved in four goals in his last three Premier League appearances (three goals and one assist), more than he managed in his first 19 matches in the competition (two goals and one assist).
