Raphinha (£6.6m) can bounce back in Gameweek 9 of Fantasy Premier League after missing last weekend’s 1-0 defeat at Southampton.

The winger sat out Gameweek 8 after arriving back late from international duty, where he scored twice in his first start for Brazil against Uruguay.

Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has revealed that Raphinha has acclimatised since returning to England.

Raphinha hosts Wolverhampton Wanderers on the back of three goals in his last six Gameweek appearances.

And his form for club and country earns him a place in a Scout Selection that lines up in a 3-5-2 formation, with Mohamed Salah (£12.8m) handed the armband and Jamie Vardy (£10.6m) named vice-captain.

Alex McCarthy (SOU) £4.5m

Southampton’s No 1 goes into a home meeting with Burnley in excellent form. McCarthy has 23 points in the last five Gameweeks, thanks to three clean sheets and three save points.

Cesar Azpilicueta (CHE) £6.2m

The Chelsea defender has been a reliable source of returns at both ends of the pitch. Azpilicueta has four clean sheets this term and has supplied all three of his assists in his last three home outings.

Aymeric Laporte (MCI) £5.5m

The Manchester City centre-back could deliver at both ends of the pitch against Brighton & Hove Albion. Laporte has claimed five clean sheets and also scored once, with his 11 shots in the penalty area ranking second among defenders in Fantasy.

Lucas Digne (EVE) £5.3m

Everton's left-back faces a Watford side who have failed to score in each of the last two Gameweeks. Digne also offers strong attacking potential; his 14 key passes have been bettered by just three other defenders in Fantasy.

Mohamed Salah (LIV) £12.8m

Five double-figure returns in the opening eight Gameweeks show why Liverpool’s Egyptian will be the go-to captain for many managers against Manchester United. The Red Devils have conceded six goals in their last two matches in all competitions.

Son Heung-min (TOT) £10.1m

The Tottenham Hotspur star has averaged 7.3 points per match this season. Son has returned 13 points in two of his last four meetings with West Ham United.

Kai Havertz (CHE) £8.1m

The German is expected to occupy a “false nine” position at home to Norwich City, with forwards Romelu Lukaku (£11.7m) and Timo Werner (£8.6m) both ruled out. He scored at home to Malmo in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday when he came on as a substitute following Lukaku's injury.

Raphinha (LEE) £6.6m

Raphinha's 24 shots and 14 chances created are both team-leading totals.

Andros Townsend (EVE) £5.7m

A home encounter with Watford raises the appeal of Everton’s winger as a captaincy option. Townsend has three double-figure hauls this season, producing 10+ points in two of his last three matches at Goodison Park.

Jamie Vardy (LEI) £10.6m

The most-bought player in Gameweek 9, he has earned over 522,000 new owners for Leicester City’s trip to Brentford. Vardy has scored five of his seven goals this season in the last four Gameweeks, while his 14 shots in the box in that period were joint-top with Salah.

Michail Antonio (WHU) £8.1m

His totals of 11 shots in the penalty area and 11 chances created were both among the top four players in their last four matches in Fantasy. Antonio has scored in each of West Ham's last two home meetings with Spurs.
