The Scout's panel of experts give their verdicts on the Scout Selection ahead of the Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 7 deadline of 11:00 BST on Saturday 2 October.

Really like seeing the Arsenal duo of Aaron Ramsdale (£4.5m) and Bukayo Saka (£6.3m), who are both good mid-term picks, given the fixtures. Expecting more fireworks from Raphinha (£6.5m). Some day soon he is going to get triple attacking returns.

Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)

I like the team apart from the lack of a Chelsea defender. A punt on Ben Chilwell (£5.6m) or the cheaper Andreas Christensen (£5.0m) are better shouts than Marcal (£4.6m), who is going up against an in-form Allan Saint-Maximin (£6.8m).

Holly Shand (@HollyShand)

I love the front three. It's the likely strike-force I'm going to be going with this week. It's a tough week for defences with injuries across our squads, but Burnley's Ben Mee (£4.9m) looks good for a clean sheet against a goal-shy Norwich City side.

Great set of picks but I'm not convinced by the inclusion of Arsenal duo Ramsdale and Saka against a Brighton & Hove Albion side who have been good this season. The lack of a Chelsea defender also stands out.

Paul Gee (@FPLPaulGee)

Ismaila Sarr (£6.3m) and Raphinha are great options this week as I expect another high-scoring meeting with Leeds United in their head-to-head at Elland Road.

In a week where many are looking to bring in or even double-up on Chelsea defenders, it's a bold selection to go without even one!

Chuck Booth (@ChuckBoothSport)

Mee and Aaron Cresswell (£5.5m) are two of the top defenders who I'd like this week as both have been offensive forces for their teams ahead of good fixtures. The front three will also do quite a bit of damage and now Arsenal are finding their footing, Saka and Ramsdale are becoming excellent picks.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

While there hasn't been a clean sheet between Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers in any of their 12 Premier League meetings, I still think Marcal is a good pick especially when you consider he also has two assists in his last three matches. Saka, Sarr and Michail Antonio (£8.0m) all look like great picks who can build on their Gameweek 6 returns.

Remember, the Gameweek 7 deadline is at 11:00 BST on Saturday 2 October.
