A Double Gameweek 25 has raised the appeal of the Southampton forward.

He is the second most-bought forward ahead of Friday’s 18:30 GMT deadline, earning 200,000+ new owners.

Southampton are among only two sides to play twice in the next round of matches, hosting Chelsea before visiting Leeds United.

Ings warmed up for his pair of fixtures by scoring against Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.

He also enjoyed a successful previous meeting with Chelsea, netting in a 3-3 draw at Stamford Bridge in Gameweek 5.

And Leeds’ poor defensive form offers more encouragement to Ings's growing 11.9 per cent ownership.

They have conceded 42 goals, the second-most in the Premier League.

Raphinha (LEE) £5.4m

The Brazilian has produced attacking returns in five successive appearances ahead of Double Gameweek 25 matches against Wolves and Southampton.

Raphinha has scored twice and supplied four assists over that period, totalling 38 points in Fantasy.

He is the second most-bought midfielder in the Gameweek, brought in by 161,000+ managers.

Yet the winger still remains a huge differential and can be found in a mere 4.7 per cent of squads.

Timo Werner (CHE) £9.2m

The arrival of Thomas Tuchel as Chelsea head coach appears to have revived the forward’s prospects.

Werner has produced returns in three successive matches, scoring once and supplying three assists to earn 21 Fantasy points.

Since making his first appearance for Tuchel in Gameweek 21, Werner’s total of five big chances is joint-top among all players in FPL.

That points to more success against a Southampton side who have lost each of their last six Premier League encounters.

Pascal Gross (BHA) £5.8m

The Brighton & Hove Albion playmaker’s Fantasy potential has been boosted by a recent return to the starting XI.

Gross has started each of Brighton's last six matches, supplying assists against Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley in that period.

His total of 19 chances created in his last six appearances is more than any other player in Fantasy.

He can exploit a Crystal Palace side who have managed only one clean sheet away from home this season.

Luke Shaw (MUN) £5.0m

The Manchester United left-back offers strong potential at both ends of the pitch at home to Newcastle United.

Shaw has produced attacking or defensive returns in six of his last seven Gameweek starts.

The left-back has combined four assists with three clean sheets over that period, also earning seven bonus points.
