Burnley hope to have Robbie Brady and Dwight McNeil back after the duo missed the defeat at Leeds United last time out with minor injuries.

John Lundstram (suspended) is unavailable for Sheffield United, who also have doubts about Oli Burke (back) and Oli McBurnie (shoulder).

Burnley are targeting a first Premier League win over Sheff Utd at the third attempt.

Sheff Utd have a strong record in Lancashire, losing only one of their last 12 league matches there (W4 D7), at Preston North End in December 2017.

Burnley are unbeaten in three matches at Turf Moor, winning two, and could claim their first back-to-back home league victories since October 2019.

Failure to win would mean Sheff Utd equalling the record for the longest winless run of 16 matches since the start of a season, set by Queens Park Rangers in 2012/13.
