Southampton are targeting a third win in four matches, having drawn their other contest 3-3 at Chelsea last time out.

Everton can move three points clear at the top of the table, having won four of their opening five matches and drawn the other against champions Liverpool.

Stuart Armstrong is back for Southampton after testing positive for COVID-19 while on international duty with Scotland.

Theo Walcott, however, is ineligible to face his parent club, and Moussa Djenepo (hamstring) is unavailable.

Everton will assess the fitness of James Rodriguez (knock). Seamus Coleman (hamstring), Jonjoe Kenny (ankle) and Richarlison (suspended) are unavailable.
