Everton are looking to win their opening four matches of a top-flight season for the first time since 1969/70, when they went on to win the title.

Brighton & Hove Albion are targeting their first win at Everton in all competitions, at the ninth attempt.

Richarlison (ankle) faces a late fitness test, while Carlo Ancelotti will be without regular starters Allan (groin) and Andre Gomes. 

Jonjoe Kenny (ankle) and Moise Kean (illness) are also ruled out.

Alireza Jahanbakhsh could be in contention for Brighton, but the match comes too soon for Davy Propper.

Yves Bissouma is available after completing a three-match ban following his red card at Newcastle United.
