Both sides are aiming to maintain their winning start to the season, but something has to give at Anfield.

Liverpool have won their last four Premier League home matches against Arsenal. However, the Gunners came out on top when the sides last met, at Emirates Stadium in July.

Liverpool's Jordan Henderson (muscle) will not be available with Thiago Alcantara, who played 45 minutes at Chelsea after replacing Henderson, in contention for his full debut.

Joe Gomez returned to training on Friday along with Billy Koumetio but Joel Matip (muscle) remains sidelined.
