Arsenal will be looking for a response after losing to Aston Villa and can leapfrog Burnley into ninth with a win, if the Clarets fail to beat Brighton & Hove Albion.

Watford are currently 18th, below Aston Villa on goal difference, and will need to better Villa's result by two or more goals should they both win. A draw would keep them up if Dean Smith's side lose.

Team news

Arsenal's Bernd Leno (knee), Shkodran Mustafi (hamstring), Calum Chambers (knee), Pablo Mari (ankle) and Gabriel Martinelli (knee) are all out.

A late decision will be made on Etienne Capoue, but there are no other injury concerns for Watford.

Watford have conceded at least once in each of their last nine Premier League matches. No side is on a longer current run without a clean sheet in the competition.

In their 13 Premier League meetings with Arsenal, the Hornets have only scored the first goal of the match on one occasion. Younes Kaboul doing so in a 2-1 away victory in January 2017.
