A home encounter with Southampton hands Bruno Fernandes (£9.0m) the chance to extend his outstanding run of form in Fantasy Premier League.

The Manchester United playmaker was the third most-selected captain in Gameweek 34+, handed the armband by 684,000+ managers.

And he rewarded their faith with 14 points, his third successive double-figure haul.

Having produced 44 points in the last three Gameweeks, Fernandes could now be the top captain pick for the first time this season.

His team-mates Anthony Martial (£8.3m) and Mason Greenwood (£4.7m) can also bring in big returns.

Martial has 35 points across his last two home matches, while Greenwood has claimed double-digit scores in two of the last three Gameweeks.

Fresh Mane to deliver?

A midweek bench role against Brighton & Hove Albion lifts the captaincy prospects of Sadio Mane (£12.3m).

The Liverpool winger is now expected to return to the starting XI at home to Burnley. He has scored in each of his last four outings at Anfield.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah (£12.5m) welcomes the Clarets off the back of his season-high 18 points at Brighton.

Vardy back in contention

A visit to AFC Bournemouth also brings Jamie Vardy (£9.8m) into consideration.

The Leicester City striker has scored three goals in the last two Gameweeks, totalling 22 points.

Vardy produced 16 points in his previous meeting with the Cherries, scoring twice and supplying an assist in Gameweek 4.

Differential alternatives

Chelsea pair Christian Pulisic (£7.3m) and Willian (£7.3m) head to Sheffield United in superb form.

Pulisic has produced points in all five of his appearances since the season resumed, while Willian has three double-figure returns in his last four outings.

Finally, Harry Kane's (£11.0m) prolific record against Arsenal should not be ignored.

The Tottenham Hotspur striker has scored 10 goals in his 10 Premier League meetings with the Gunners.
