Despite frustrating Fantasy Premier League managers recently, Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy (£10.1m) is still worth backing for the Gameweek 23 captaincy.

For the last 10 Gameweeks, Vardy has been the most popular FPL captain but in the last four he has picked up just seven points, having not played in two of them.

In the latest FPL Show, Fantasy expert David Munday says Vardy will be determined to improve his recent run of form and considers Sunday's opponents Burnley to be the ideal opponents for that to happen.

"The thing for me with Vardy is that I think there's a bit of a point to prove for this Burnley game," he says.

"And Burnley are a team that I could see obliging him in that, because they have conceded quite a lot of shots in the box and a lot of big chances recently.

"No team has conceded more in the matches against the big teams than Burnley. So if you've got a man like Vardy with a point to prove, against quite an obliging defence, I think this could be his comeback."
