Liverpool have won 13 Premier League away matches versus Villa, more than against any other side, and have also won their last 13 fixtures against promoted sides, the fourth-longest such run in the competition.

James Milner has been involved in four goals in his last four Premier League matches against former side Villa, with two goals and two assists. He has found the net in both such outings for Liverpool.

Since losing to Sam Allardyce’s Crystal Palace in April 2017, Jurgen Klopp is unbeaten in his last 24 Premier League meetings with English managers (W20 D4), winning the last 14 in a row.
