1993: Graeme Le Saux moves from Chelsea to Blackburn Rovers
Graeme Le Saux completed his transfer from Chelsea to Blackburn Rovers.
Blackburn finished second in Le Saux’s first full season and were crowned Premier League champions a year later.
He remained at Ewood Park for six years before returning to Chelsea in 1997 where he was part of the squad that went on to win the League Cup and FA Cup.
Bradford City’s search for a home victory continued as they fell to defeat against Manchester United at Valley Parade.
Dwight Yorke scored United’s first two goals before second-half strikes by David Beckham and Paul Scholes finished off relegation-threatened Bradford.
United were top with 67 points, seven points clear of Leeds United in second. The defeat left Bradford two points from safety in 18th on 26 points.
