Away teams prospered in Matchweek 3 - and supporters voted in their thousands to celebrate their Budweiser Kings of the Match.

In a weekend in which only Aston Villa and Liverpool won at home, fans across the world voted on the final whistles for their top performers via the official Premier League website and app.

Here's who were crowned Kings for the third weekend of the season.

Matchweek 3 Kings of the Match 
Wesley (AVL)

The striker claimed 44.9 per cent of the vote as he scored his maiden Premier League goal to give Aston Villa their first league points of the campaign.

Tammy Abraham (CHE)

Abraham was backed by 52.9 per cent of the vote as he became the third-youngest player to score a brace in the Premier League for Chelsea.

Nathan Redmond (SOU)

The midfielder was selected by 62.8 per cent of the vote after scoring the second goal of Southampton's first victory of the season.

Jordan Ayew (CRY)

Ayew won 34.7 per cent of the vote after producing the first goal of Crystal Palace's memorable victory at Manchester United.

Jamie Vardy (LEI)

The Leicester City striker continued his impressive scoring run under Brendan Rodgers and won 48.7 per cent of the vote.

Sebastien Haller (WHU)

West Ham United secured their first victory of the season at Watford and the striker's two goals earned Haller a whopping 80.9 per cent of the vote.

Mohamed Salah (LIV)

The Egyptian claimed his second King of the Match of the season so far with 79.1 per cent of the vote after scoring twice in the win over Arsenal.

Sergio Aguero (MCI)

Ever-reliable Manchester City forward Aguero netted two goals at Vitality Stadium to help his side defeat AFC Bournemouth and claim 39.8 per cent of the vote.

Joelinton (NEW)

The Brazilian had 59.2 per cent of the vote after scoring his first Newcastle United goal in an impressive performance against Tottenham Hotspur.

Ashley Barnes (BUR)

A second King of the Match win for the Burnley striker, who earned 49.6 per cent of the vote after scoring his fourth goal in the opening three matches of the campaign.
