2002: Everton 2-1 Arsenal

A spectacular winner from 16-year-old Wayne Rooney ended Arsenal's 30-match unbeaten league run. 

Fredrik Ljungberg put Arsenal ahead inside eight minutes but Arsene Wenger's men were pegged back by Tomasz Radzinski's equaliser. 

Rooney’s unstoppable 30-yard strike then won it for Everton, after which Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger called him 'the greatest prospect in English football.'

Arsenal dropped to second on 23 points, a point behind leaders Liverpool. Everton moved up to ninth with 14 points.

2013: Arsenal 4-1 Norwich City

Arsenal extended their lead over Chelsea at the top of the Premier League with a late flurry against Norwich City at Emirates Stadium.

Jack Wilshere scored a fine volley after a superb team move, and Mesut Ozil made it 2-0 on 58 minutes.

It was a nervy final 20 minutes when Jonny Howson made it 2-1, but two goals in five minutes from Ozil and Aaron Ramsey sealed the victory.

Arsenal were top with 19 points, while Norwich were 18th on seven points.
