Dion Dublin's late goal earned Coventry City a draw against Southampton that left both sides in the relegation zone.
Matt Le Tissier put the visitors ahead in the 17th minute at Highfield Road, after being set up by Neil Shipperley.
But Dublin delighted the home fans by rescuing a point for the hosts.
Southampton stayed 18th, one place ahead of Coventry on goal difference, with both sides on six points.
Newcastle United cruised to a 4-0 victory over 10-man Bolton Wanderers, who played the last half-hour without goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen.
Nolberto Solano gave the visitors the lead in the 41st minute.
Jaaskelainen was sent off for handling outside his area and with no substitute goalkeeper on the bench, Bo Hansen went in goal.
He could not keep out Laurent Robert's resultant free-kick, or prevent Alan Shearer and Craig Bellamy from adding to the score.
Newcastle overtook Bolton to go fifth with 14 points, with Bolton dropping to ninth on 12 points.
