Manchester City have announced the signing of Rodri from Atletico Madrid.
The 23-year-old defensive midfielder has agreed to join the Premier League champions on a five-year deal, having moved for an undisclosed fee.
He will wear the No 16 shirt at Man City.
"What City have achieved in the last two years has been amazing and I'm looking forward to being part of such a talented squad," he told the club's official website.

"It's not just the titles they have won, but the way they have managed it, playing attacking football at all times. It's a style that excites me, as do the club's ambitions."
Rodri made 34 LaLiga appearances for Atletico last season, scoring three goals and claiming one assist, having joined the club from Villarreal in 2018.
He is Man City's second signing of the summer transfer window, following the return of Angelino earlier in the week.
Rodri could make his PL debut when City open their title defence at West Ham United on Saturday 10 August.
