AFC Bournemouth helped to develop a new generation of coaches when they visited Oman as part of the Premier League's Premier Skills programme.

The global coach and referee development scheme, run in partnership with the British Council, has trained more than 25,000 coaches and referees in 29 countries to date.

And in Oman, AFC Bournemouth provided theory and practical workshops to 20 local coaches, giving participants the knowledge and expertise to develop their own coaching skills and football delivery in their communities.

"Premier Skills gives club community staff the opportunity to go international and showcase what we can do while also developing our own abilities," Steve Cuss, the head of the AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust, told This Is Premier League, the official review of 2018/19.

"We wanted to show how we improve and increase community engagement in the UK and how we can share that message with others around the world."
