David Moyes says Manchester United will need to play for the pride of their supporters in the Manchester derby on Wednesday night.

United host a Manchester City side who have won their last 10 Premier League matches and can return to the top of the table if they win at Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, meanwhile, lie sixth after suffering a disappointing 4-0 defeat at Everton on Sunday, but Moyes says the derby represents the perfect opportunity to restore pride in the red half of Manchester.

"Manchester United will need to come out with all guns blazing, for the players, more importantly, but I think of the supporters as well," said the former Man Utd manager. "I think they'll need to show that they're up for it."

"I'm not sure quite how it will go but I think that the Manchester United players will have pride in their performance and they'll do everything they can to win the game."
