Any Fantasy Premier League manager on the lookout for a new forward ahead of Friday's 19:00 BST deadline should consider Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£10.8m).

The Arsenal striker featured only as a substitute against Newcastle United on Monday after suffering from an illness.

Yet he still provided an assist in just 29 minutes played of the 2-0 win.

That brief appearance raises his chances of starting at Everton on Sunday.

Challenging Aguero

The statistics highlight Aubameyang's prolific campaign ahead of Gameweek 33's reduced schedule, when only six fixtures take place.

He has scored on average every 131.5 minutes, second only to the 104.7 minutes of Sergio Aguero (£11.8m) among FPL forwards.

And with Aguero not in PL action this Gameweek, Aubameyang will be looking to close the two-goal gap on the Manchester City striker in the race for the Golden Boot.

Explosive scorer

Aubameyang has been Arsenal’s most explosive source of Fantasy points.

His total of five double-figure hauls is a team-leading figure and compares favourably with the two of his strike partner Alexandre Lacazette (£9.4m).

Furthermore, Arsenal are one of only two Gameweek 33 teams to also have a Double Gameweek 35. The Gunners host Crystal Palace and then travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

With Watford away also to come in Gameweek 34, Aubameyang should be a big target for managers with or without their Wildcard.
