Despite Gunners moving up to third place with win over Newcastle pundit says his former side have the upper hand

Jermaine Jenas believes Tottenham Hotspur will finish in the top four despite being overtaken by Arsenal, following the Gunners' 2-0 win over Newcastle United on Monday.

The Gunners are in pole position for a UEFA Champions League place after sealing their 10th successive home victory in the Premier League, thanks to goals from Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette.

However, former Spurs midfielder Jenas believes Arsenal’s run-in may prove too difficult for them to sustain their charge, largely due to the fact that five of their remaining seven matches are away from home.

"It's as tough as it gets away from home for them, I would say, in terms of the places you’re going to and what they’re fighting for," says Jenas.

"Burnley are going to be fighting all the way, [CrystalPalace are still going to need wins; Watford are going to be past their FA Cup semi-final and will be right at it; Everton are back in form.

"It's going to be tough for everyone, don’t get me wrong, but I think it’ll end up as Spurs and Manchester United in the top four."

Arsenal are two points above fourth-placed Spurs and Man Utd, in fifth. Chelsea, in sixth, are three points adrift of the Gunners.
