A trip to Watford on Sunday beckons for Brendan Rodgers' first match in charge of Leicester City.

And his appointment can raise the prospects of James Maddison (£6.6m) in Fantasy Premier League.

The midfielder has been a standout attacking threat in recent weeks.

As a result, he is one of five players to watch selected by The Scout for Gameweek 29.

James Maddison (LEI) £6.6m

The Leicester playmaker has created 21 chances over the last four Gameweeks, at least six more than any other player in the Premier League.

He has also boasted a considerable goal threat in that period. Indeed, Maddison's total of 14 shots on goal ranked second among FPL midfielders.

Maddison scored against Watford earlier this season and looks poised to kick on under Rodgers.

Benjamin Mendy (MCI) £6.1m

The left-back was an unused substitute in Manchester City's midweek win over West Ham United.

Mendy's return to fitness could allow him his first appearance since Gameweek 12 as Pep Guardiola's men visit AFC Bournemouth.

The Frenchman has averaged 6.3 points per match this season. That tally equals Andrew Robertson (£6.8m), the top-scoring defender in FPL.

Glenn Murray (BHA) £6.3m

The Brighton & Hove Albion striker will hope to continue his fine home form when Huddersfield Town visit at the weekend.

Seven of Murray's 10 goals this season have been scored in front of his own fans.

And his total of 11 shots inside the penalty area in his last four matches ranks among the top five forwards in FPL.

Victor Lindelof (MUN) £5.0m

The Manchester United centre-back offers big all-round potential for his home match with Southampton.

Lindelof has a goal, an assist, two clean sheets and 30 FPL points in his last four Gameweek appearances.

Saints, meanwhile, travel to Old Trafford having scored only three goals in their previous four road trips.

Ashley Barnes (BUR) £5.7m

The Burnley forward has scored in four of the last five Gameweeks.

Crystal Palace will visit Turf Moor on Saturday with only one away clean sheet to their name since Gameweek 13.

Barnes's underlying statistics point to more success against the Eagles.

He has had 13 shots inside the box in the last four Gameweeks, second only to the 14 of Salomon Rondon (£5.7m).
