MAN OF THE MATCH?

Leeds win to end the season on a high

Goals by Rodrigo, Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford helped Leeds United beat West Bromwich Albion 3-1 to finish their first Premier League season since 2003/04 in ninth place.

Rodrigo put Leeds in front after 17 minutes, heading in at the back post from Raphinha's corner.

Callum Robinson fired wide for West Brom before Phillips' free-kick beat visiting goalkeeper Sam Johnstone to double Leeds' advantage three minutes before the break.

Half-time substitute Bamford made it 3-0 from the penalty spot in the 79th minute after a handball by Okay Yokuslu.

West Brom scored a late consolation in the final minute after Hal Robson-Kanu capitalised on a mistake to slot home.

Leeds end the season on 59 points, the highest tally for a promoted side since Ipswich Town's 66 in 2000/01.

Relegated West Brom finish 19th with 26 points.
