MAN OF THE MATCH?

Pulisic double returns Chelsea to fourth

Christian Pulisic scored twice as Chelsea recorded their biggest win under Thomas Tuchel by beating Crystal Palace 4-1 at Selhurst Park.

Kai Havertz put Chelsea ahead in the ninth minute, firing in his second Premier League goal.

The German turned provider two minutes later, playing in Pulisic, who finished into the roof of the net.

Kurt Zouma headed in a third on the half-hour to take his season's tally to five goals, making him the highest-scoring defender.

It was almost 4-0 on 34 minutes, but Antonio Rudiger's header was cleared off the line by Patrick van Aanholt.

Christian Benteke pulled a goal back on 63 minutes, but any hopes of a Palace fightback were dashed by Pulisic's second from close range with 12 minutes remaining.

Chelsea move back above Liverpool into fourth on 54 points. Palace are 13th on 38 points.
