MAN OF THE MATCH?

Match summary

AFC Bournemouth were relegated from the Premier League despite beating Everton 3-1 at Goodison Park.

Joshua King fired the Cherries 1-0 ahead from the penalty spot on 13 minutes after Richarlison had handled.

But on 41 minutes Moise Kean's close-range finish from Theo Walcott's low cross levelled the scores.

Everton's joy was short lived as AFC Bournemouth edged 2-1 ahead before the break when Dominic Solanke nodded home Diego Rico's free-kick.

Junior Stanislas added a third in the 80th minute with a shot that squirmed under Jordan Pickford.

Despite handing Carlo Ancelotti his first home defeat as Everton manager, Aston Villa's 1-1 draw at West Ham United means AFC Bournemouth's five-year stay in the Premier League is over as their 18th-place finish was confirmed.

Everton drop to 12th on 49 points.
