Billy Sharp's first-half header gave Sheffield United a 1-0 victory over Norwich City to lift them up to sixth in the Premier League.

Teemu Pukki came close to putting Norwich ahead on 13 minutes, but his close-range shot struck a post from a tight angle.

The Blades took the lead on 36 minutes when John Lundstram's cross was met by captain Sharp, who headed beyond Tim Krul.

Dean Henderson made a fine double save late on to deny first Ben Godfrey and then Mario Vrancic as Sheff Utd held on.
