    Match summary

Teemu Pukki's first-half penalty earned Norwich Cty a 1-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth for their first win in 10 matches.

Dan Gosling headed over early on before AFC Bournemouth were reduced to 10 men after Steve Cook stopped Ondrej Duda's shot with his hand in the area.

Teemu Pukki beat Aaron Ramsdale from the resulting penalty on 33 minutes.

Ramsdale denied Pukki a second before Norwich were also reduced to 10 men after the break.

Ben Godfrey was given a yellow card for a foul on Callum Wilson, but it was upgraded to a red card by referee Paul Tierney after consulting the Referee Review Area after advice from the VAR.

AFC Bournemouth pushed for a late equaliser, but for a fourth successive match were unable to score.

The win moves bottom-placed Norwich to within three points of the Cherries a place above them.
