Match summary

Wolverhampton Wanderers struck late again to rescue a 1-1 draw at home to Newcastle United.

Willy Boly rose above Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka in the fifth minute of stoppage time to nod in Adama Traore's cross, Wolves' fifth goal from the 90th minute this season.

Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez had chances for Wolves in the first half with Newcastle soaking up pressure, before Salomon Rondon shot wide for the visitors.

Newcastle took the lead 11 minutes after the break when Fabian Schar slid a pass to Isaac Hayden, who shot past Rui Patricio at his near post.

January signing Miguel Almiron made his Magpies debut off the bench as the visitors looked set for three vital points before Boly struck.

Wolves stay seventh on 39 points while Newcastle are 16th on 25 points, one clear of the bottom three.
