MAN OF THE MATCH?

Match summary

A wonderful individual goal from Son Heung-min helped Tottenham Hotspur end Chelsea's unbeaten start to the season with a 3-1 win at Wembley Stadium.

Dele Alli headed Spurs ahead after only eight minutes when he flicked in a free-kick from Christian Eriksen for his sixth goal in five matches against Chelsea.

Eight minutes later, Harry Kane made it 2-0 with a powerful effort from 25 yards that beat a wrong-footed Kepa Arrizabalaga at his near post.

Nine minutes after the break Son ran half the length of the pitch before cutting inside to curl Spurs' third into the far corner.

Olivier Giroud nodded in Cesar Azpilicueta's cross for a late consolation for Chelsea that was his first league goal of the season.

The win takes Spurs two points above fourth-placed Chelsea into third, on 30 points.
