Match summary

Tottenham Hotspur cut the gap to leaders Chelsea to seven points with a 2-0 win at Burnley.

Dele Alli fired the best chance of the first half over the bar before Spurs lost both Victor Wanyama and Harry Winks to injury.

Mauricio Pochettino moved Eric Dier into midfield after the break and the 23-year-old's first goal of the season made it 1-0 when Burnley failed to clear Christian Eriksen's corner.

Substitute Son Heung-min sealed the win in the 77th minute as Spurs capitalised on Chelsea's home defeat to Crystal Palace.

Burnley drop to 15th, five points clear of the relegation zone.
