PREMIER LEAGUE KICK OFF GIVEAWAY PRIZE DRAW  

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

No purchase is necessary. 

A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. 

1. PRIZE DRAW: The Premier League Kick Off Giveaway Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”) is an online prize draw, run via the survey platform and sponsored by FA Premier League (India) Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act 2013, having its registered office at 1302, 13th Floor, Tower-3, ONE International Center, Delisle Road, Mumbai – 400013, Maharashtra, India, registered with the Registrar of Companies with Corporate Identification Number U93190MH2025FTC437591 (“PL”). PL will administer the Prize Draw. 

2. PRIZE DRAW PERIOD. The Prize Draw begins at 10:00 IST on Monday 14th September 2026 and ends at 12:00 IST on Wednesday 30th September 2026 (“Prize Draw Period”).  

3. ELIGIBILITY. The Prize Draw is open to legal residents of India, except the Indian States of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Sikkim and/or Talim Nadu (India, excluding those states, being the “Eligible Territories”) who submit an Entry (as defined below), and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of Entry (“Entrant”). Invalid Entries are strictly prohibited and will be deemed void, regardless of whether such entries are received by the PL. For the avoidance of doubt, any entries from individuals who are resident in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Sikkim or Tamil Nadu will be void. The PL shall not be liable or responsible under the laws or regulations of any jurisdiction outside the Eligible Territories in connection with any such void entries and make no representation that the Prize Draw complies with the laws of any jurisdiction outside of the Eligible Territories. Employees of the PL and each of their respective subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate family members of each (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible to participate or win the Prize Draw. The Prize Draw and Entrants are subject to all applicable local laws in the Eligible Territories. There is no entry fee, and no purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw. 

4. HOW TO ENTER. To enter the Prize Draw, during the Prize Draw Period an Entrant must submit their name, email address, mobile number and state of residence to the dedicated Prize Draw page accessed from posts promoting the competition on the PLforIndia social media channels (“Entry”). Entrants should also confirm acceptance of these terms and conditions, by ticking the ‘opt in’ tick box, including confirmation that they are a resident of the Eligible Territories.  

5. Entrants are permitted to submit a maximum of one (1) Entry. Any attempt by an Entrant to obtain more than one (1) Entry by using multiple/different accounts, identities, registrations, logins, addresses or through any other methods, may void all of that Entrant’s Entries and that Entrant may be disqualified. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means and entries by any means which subvert to the Entry process are void. Incomplete, illegible or corrupt entries will not constitute a valid Entry. 

6. The PL reserves the right to disqualify any Entry which is, or a portion of it is, obscene, profane, lewd, defamatory or violates any proprietary right of any person living or deceased (including but not limited to rights of privacy or publicity or portrayal in a false light) or entity, sexual in nature, or is otherwise objectionable, as determined in the PL’s sole discretion. Entries must be in keeping with the PL’s image and may not be offensive, as determined by the PL in its sole discretion.  

7. All Entries become the sole property of the PL and will not be returned and once submitted, can only be withdrawn in writing to the PL. 

8. DRAWING THE WINNER. Seventy-five prize winners (each a “Winner”) will be selected in a random drawing, conducted in accordance with the laws of chance, which will take place within four (4) weeks of the expiry of the Prize Draw Period, from all eligible Entries. The random drawing will be conducted by the PL. The PL’s decision is final on all matters relating to the selection and/or judging of the Prize Draw. The odds of winning the Prize (as defined below) will depend on the number of eligible Entries received throughout the Prize Draw Period. 

9. THE PRIZE. Each Winner will receive a Desi PL Calendar or any other prize at the PL’s sole discretion (the “Prize”). 

10. The Prize is subject to availability and eligibility, and the PL reserves the right to later amend, substitute or withdraw any element. If a Winner is not able to demonstrate their compliance with the eligibility requirements set out herein, or is disqualified for any other reason whatsoever at the sole discretion of the PL, the PL, at their sole discretion, reserves the right to withdraw the Prize or any element of it, and the PL reserves the right to select a new Winner in accordance with these terms and conditions. The Prize (and each component) is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered in any circumstance.  

11. WINNER NOTIFICATION. The Winners will be notified via email, as stated in their Entry, within four (4) weeks of the draw taking place in accordance with point 8. The Winners will be required to respond to the email within seven (7) days of receipt. If a Winner fails to respond within this time, their Winner status may be forfeited, and the PL reserves the right to select a new Winner in accordance with these terms and conditions. Winners are subject to verification by the PL, and the PL may request any reasonable documentation or proof of eligibility.  

12. GENERAL RULES. If a Winner is uncooperative, disruptive, or may or does cause damage to person, property, or the reputation of PL or otherwise violates the policies of the PL, and in such a case, the PL has the right, in its absolute discretion, to disqualify the Winner. The Winner will remain solely responsible for all taxes and other expenses related to the Prize, if any. 

13. DATA PROTECTION. 

a. To register for the Prize Draw, subject to clause 13(c) below, you are required to grant the PL consent to process your personal data in the manner discussed in the Data Protection Notice contained in the Data Protection Addendum below. 

b. If you withdraw your consent granted under clause 13(a) above, you shall be disqualified from participating in the Prize Draw. 

c. Notwithstanding the Data Protection Addendum, the PL reserve the right to process your personal data without consent for legitimate uses, and otherwise as may be permitted under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and other applicable laws.  

d. All information and personal data shall be controlled by the PL in accordance with the Data Protection Addendum To the extent that any information contained within an Entry constitutes personal data (as defined in the DPDP Act and/or Data Protection Act 2018) is disclosed in relation to the Prize Draw, the PL shall ensure that they and all their agents observe the requirements of the DPDP Act and/or Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (as the case may be) (and any amendments, schedules or revisions thereto) and shall protect the security, privacy and integrity of the personal data and personal data shall only be processed in accordance with these terms and conditions or the instructions of the PL. 

  

14. By submitting an Entry, each Winner grants to the PL a royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to edit, publish, translate, modify, adapt, make available and distribute any element of their Entry throughout the world in any media now known or hereafter invented, including any accompanying photographs of the Winner with the Prize. For the avoidance of doubt, the PL may make use of that Winner’s entry, their proper name and country of residence online and in print, or in any other media, in connection with the Prize Draw, without payment or compensation, except where prohibited by law. 

15. The PL shall not be liable or responsible for errors in the administration or fulfilment of the Prize Draw, including without limitation mechanical, technical, human, printing, distribution or production errors. The PL shall be ultimately responsible for determining eligibility, in its sole discretion. 

16. If any aspect of the Prize, is affected, amended, cancelled or postponed due to circumstances beyond PL’s control, including but not limited to, travel cancellations, delays or interruptions due to acts of God, acts and advice of Governments, acts of war, epidemic, pandemic, natural disasters, weather, acts of terrorism, national catastrophes, advice against any travel by any Government or official authority for any reason (including by way of example only and without limitation by reason of any actual or potential terrorist threat) and/or the World Health Organisation or any internationally recognised medical authority for any reason or an event of force majeure, the PL and its agencies will not be responsible and the Prize will not be awarded and no additional compensation will be provided. No refunds or credit changes are allowed. Any and all state and/or local income and other taxes on the Prize is the Winner’s sole responsibility.  

17. Entrants assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Prize Draw or use or redemption of the Prize. For the avoidance of doubt, the PL cannot accept any liability to any Entrant for any of the following types of loss which an Entrant may suffer as a result of their Entry: 

a. loss which was not foreseeable to an Entrant and the PL when the Entrant first entered any of the Prize Draw (even if that loss results from the PL’s failure to comply with these terms and conditions or its negligence); 

b. any business loss an Entrant may suffer, including loss of revenue, profits, or anticipated savings (whether those losses are the direct or indirect result of the PL’s default); or 

c. loss which an Entrant suffers other than as a result of the PL’s failure to comply with these terms and conditions (or any typographical or other error contained herein) and the PL’s negligence or breach of statutory duty. 

18. Any invalid entries will be void. The PL (and each of their respective subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates) accept no responsibility or liability in respect of any such entry. By participating, Entrants represent and warrant that they are eligible under these terms and that their participation does not violate any local law or regulation. Entrants who submit entries from ineligible jurisdictions do so at their own risk and without any obligation or liability on the part of the PL. 

19. Nothing in these terms will limit the PL’s liability for death or personal injury arising from its negligence or if the PL deliberately lied to Entrants before an Entry was submitted.  

20. In the event of any breach by an Entrant of these terms and conditions, the PL reserves the right to: 

a. refuse entry into the Prize Draw; or 

b. disqualification from the Prize Draw.  

21. APPLICABLE LAWS AND JURISDICTION. This Prize Draw and these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of India. The Prize Draw is void where prohibited by law, and participation by any individual outside the Eligible Territories does not confer any rights or remedies under the laws of such jurisdictions. 

  

22. ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNER. The PL reserves the right to share confirmation of the Winners on its social media platforms in due course once the Winner has formally accepted the Prize. Any request for further information should be made via the Entrant’s account. 

 

Data Protection Addendum 

Data Protection Notice 

1. The PL shall process your personal data as a Data Fiduciary. To the extent that any third party is appointed by PL to process your Personal Data, it shall do so as a Data Processor in accordance with PL’s directions and instructions. 

2. You represent that the personal data being shared with the PL is true and accurate. You further represent that you are not below the age of 18.  

3. The PL may collect the following personal data relating to you and process the same for the purpose of Prize Draw and Entry administration in accordance with the terms of the Prize Draw and PL’s privacy policy which can be found at https://www.premierleague.com/privacy-policy:  

i. Name 

ii. Date of birth 

iii. Email address  

iv. Mobile Number 

v. State 

4. You have the following rights under the DPDP Act: 

a. You may access a summary of your personal data being processed by the PL, details of the processing activities, the identities of third parties with whom the PL has shared your personal data with a description of such data (subject to the DPDP Act), and any other information the PL is required to provide under the DPDP Act. 

b. You may correct inaccurate or misleading personal data, complete incomplete personal data and update personal data. 

c. You may withdraw your consent, after which the PL will stop processing. Unless required under the DPDP Act to retain it, the PL will erase your personal data within a reasonable time.  

d. You may submit a request to erase your personal data in the PL’s possession and upon receipt of such request, subject to retention requirements under applicable law, it will be erased. 

e. You may submit a request to nominate an individual who shall, in the event of your death or incapacity, exercise your rights with respect to the PL processing your personal data. 

f. You can file a grievance with the PL if you believe your personal data has been processed in violation of the DPDP Act. 

g. You may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India if you believe that the PL infringed your rights under the DPDP Act, after exhausting your right to grievance redressal directly with the PL.
