This Privacy Notice explains how we collect and use your personal data when you use the Premier League Companion, powered by Copilot function on the Premier League website and app (“Copilot”).

What Personal Data We Collect

When you use Copilot, we may collect:

- Your prompts and content you submit to Copilot;
- Technical data such as your device information and usage patterns;
- ECID (analytics collected through a Cookie), Single sign-on ID, and IP address; and
- Any personal information you choose to include in your conversations with Copilot

How We Use Your Personal Data

We may use your personal data to operate Copilot and improve the function as it appears.

Copilot is provided by Microsoft. As such, Microsoft acts as a data processor in relation to the operation of Copilot on the Premier League website and app. Your personal data will be processed by Microsoft strictly for the below purposes on behalf of the Premier League.

Copilot may include both automated and manual (human) processing of data. You shouldn't share any information with Copilot that you don't want us to review.

We use your personal data to:

- Provide and operate the Copilot service;
- Generate responses to your prompts;
- Improve and develop the Copilot function, including insights and analysis; and
- Ensure the security and integrity of the service

We will ensure that the personal data we hold about you is used fairly, lawfully, and transparently; collected for limited, specific purposes only; and adequate, relevant to and limited to what is necessary for those purposes.

Under Data Protection Law, you have certain rights (depending on the circumstances) in connection with your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or object to our use of your personal data.
