The winners of the EA SPORTS Player, Barclays Manager, Guinness Goal and Coca-Cola Save of the Month awards have been revealed.
Pascal Gross wins his first ever EA SPORTS Player of the Month award
Pascal Gross has won September’s EA SPORTS Player of the Month after one of the finest spells of his career.
The 35-year-old claims the award for the first time after recording five of his joint league-leading six goal involvements in September, scoring twice and assisting three times.
Gross is the eighth-oldest player to win Player of the Month, behind Stuart Pearce and Teddy Sheringham (both aged 38), Cristiano Ronaldo and Mark Schwarzer (both 37), Gary McAllister and Gianfranco Zola (both 36) and Paul Scholes, who was also 35 but was six months older than Gross is now.
Gross began his sensational run with a goal and two assists in Brighton & Hove Albion's dominant 5-0 win against Coventry City, before scoring the opening goal against Arsenal and then setting up Chema Andres in the 3-0 success against the champions.
Not only does Gross become the first Brighton player to receive the award, he is just the fourth German player to win it in Premier League history, following on from Ilkay Gundogan, Leroy Sane and Jurgen Klinsmann's successes.
Gross won after the public's votes on the EA SPORTS website were combined with those of a panel of football experts.
Hurzeler wins his second Barclays Manager of the Month award
Fabian Hurzeler has won the Barclays Manager of the Month award for a second time after steering Brighton to a sensational September.
Brighton surged to third in the table with two wins and a draw, scoring nine goals and conceding just once, leading to Hurzeler claiming the prize for the first time since August 2024.
Brighton's sensational season so far
| Statistic | Total | PL Rank |
|---|---|---|
| Possession | 64.8% | 1st |
| Shots on target per match | 5.7 | 1st |
| Big chances created | 22 | 1st |
| Poss. won in final third per match | 7.2 | 1st |
Hurzeler’s side lead the Premier League for possession, shots on target per match, big chances created and possession won in the final third this season.
Furthermore, their 16 league goals are three more than second top-scorers Arsenal, with Hurzeler's free-scoring team averaging 3.2 goals per game.
Unusually for a Manager of the Month recipient, Hurzeler is younger than two of the month's other award winners, his Brighton players Gross (aged 35) and Lewis Dunk (34). Hurzeler is 33.
Dunk wins Guinness Goal of the Month award
Brighton have become only the fifth team in Premier League history to win Player, Manager and Goal of the Month awards simultaneously after Dunk’s stunner against Coventry earned September's Guinness Goal of the Month award.
Dunk's long-range strike which arrowed into the top corner completed Brighton's hat-trick of monthly accolades.
Before Brighton, the last club to sweep all three awards was AFC Bournemouth in January 2025, when Justin Kluivert, Andoni Iraola and David Brooks won Player, Manager and Goal of the Month respectively.
Manchester United achieved the feat in November 2023, with Harry Maguire claiming Player of the Month and Erik ten Hag and Alejandro Garnacho clinching Manager of the Month and Goal of the Month respectively.
In October 2022 Newcastle United completed a clean sweep with Miguel Almiron picking up the Player and Goal of the Month award, and Eddie Howe scooping the manager’s prize.
In November 2016, Diego Costa, Antonio Conte and Pedro shared the awards for Chelsea, winning the Player, Manager and Goal of the Month awards respectively.

Dunk's goal topped a shortlist of eight September goals following votes from the public and a panel of experts.
Raya wins his fourth Coca-Cola Save of the Month award
David Raya has won the Coca-Cola Save of the Month award for the fourth time for his crucial penalty save against Sunderland.
The Arsenal goalkeeper dived at full stretch to divert Enzo Le Fee’s spot-kick onto the post with both sides level at 0-0.
It proved to be a vital intervention as just two minutes later Arsenal took the lead through Bruno Guimaraes before Bukayo Saka sealed a 2-0 win with a penalty in stoppage time.
Most Save of the Month winners
| Player | Total |
|---|---|
| Jordan Pickford | 5 |
| David Raya | 4 |
| Andre Onana | 3 |
| Aaron Ramsdale | 3 |
Raya now sits outright second for the most Save of the Month wins, ahead of Andre Onana and Aaron Ramsdale, and one behind Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, who claimed his fifth award in August.
The Spaniard's save was chosen as the best in September after votes from the public were combined with those of a panel of experts.
