Omar Alderete (Leeds 0-1 Sunderland)

Alderete was immense as Sunderland claimed their first away win in the Premier League since October. The Paraguayan was a colossus at the back, making 17 clearances, six blocks and eight headers to help the Black Cats secure a 1-0 victory at Elland Road.

Elliot Anderson (Man City 2-2 Nottingham Forest)

Andre (Wolves 2-1 Liverpool)

The Brazilian was everywhere as Wolverhampton Wanderers claimed a second successive league win. Andre made five tackles, an effort only bettered by his compatriot and midfield partner Joao Gomes (six), and scored the winning goal in stoppage time with a deflected shot that wrong-footed Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson.

Idrissa Gueye (Everton 2-0 Burnley)

The Senegal international delivered a typically all-action display in midfield during Everton's win over Burnley. Gueye nearly scored with a spectacular 20-yard effort, but the ball agonisingly crashed against the crossbar from the edge of the box.

Joao Pedro (Aston Villa 1-4 Chelsea)

Joao Pedro netted his first Premier League hat-trick in some style at Villa Park. The pick of the Brazilian's three goals was a cute dinked finish over Emiliano Martinez to put the Blues 2-1 in front before half-time. Joao Pedro also supplied the assist for Chelsea's other goal scored by Cole Palmer.

Aaron Ramsdale (Newcastle 2-1 Man Utd)

Eddie Howe's decision to start Ramsdale over Nick Pope paid off as the goalkeeper was in inspired form during Newcastle United's win over Manchester United. The England international blocked Leny Yoro's header and acrobatically denied Joshua Zirkzee late on before William Osula's dramatic late winner.

Crysencio Summerville (Fulham 0-1 West Ham)

The Dutchman continued his impressive goalscoring form by netting the winner at Craven Cottage. Jarrod Bowen pounced on the ball after miscommunication between Bernd Leno and Calvin Bassey, allowing Summerville to slot into the bottom-left corner in the 65th minute.

Adam Wharton (Spurs 1-3 Crystal Palace)

The midfielder assisted two goals in six stoppage-time minutes as the Eagles soared into a 3-1 lead at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. His short pass teed up Jorgen Strand Larsen and then a sublime ball over two Spurs defenders enabled Ismaila Sarr to complete his brace having earlier scored a penalty.
